Job may have said, "The Lord gives and the Lord has taken away", but there is not one single instance throughout the entire book of Job in which God took anything. If God did not take anything from Job, why would Job make such a statement? Could it be that Job was speaking out of ignorance? According to Job 34:35, Job indeed spoke without knowledge and his words were without wisdom. Feb 18, 2012 - Go to Amazon.Com and search for "Understanding the Book of Job" and you will discover the depth of study. Purchase a copy and allow God to reveal truth to you concerning the book of Job: the most misunderstood, misused book of the Bible. In addition, satan is mentioned 14 times in the book of Job and a total of 18 times in the Old Testament.

Feb 19, 2012 - you forgot to mention the fact that the devil is only mentioned in the first two chapters of job and it was never by job!

Feb 4, 2012 - You realize that IN THE BOOK OF JOB the word satan is used on multiple occasions. Are you shocked to learn that? It is in the first chapter and the 6th verse, How deeply have you actually studied it?
