This is a tutorial on how to build an aquarium canopy. In this video , i show all materials needed, total cost, and how to put it together. Keep in mind, I kept this as simple as possible. Once i wrap this in plywood, the plywood gets screwed directly to the frame, so the strength would then increase even more. The reason for keeping most of my builds as simple as possible, is so that a wider range of people can actually do them. Feb 28, 2012 - It would be a very short tour right now. I just bought a house, and am moving. So to prepare for the move, i have downsized a bit to make the move much easier. Once moved, i'll be building tanks and setting up some huge systems.

Feb 28, 2012 - I own a couple of 405's now, but have owned every size they have, even a couple of the FX5's. They are a decent filter. I love the hoses on them, although a lot of people dont. Good media capacity as well. Over all, i'd give the filter a 7/10.
