New episode, Woop-Woop! -------- Ugh! I hate myself so much right now. I can't believe I just left Nick sitting there by himself. I really hope I get to see him tomorrow. He seems so down to earth. And he's cute! Gosh, I sound like a giddy school girl talking about her first crush. I walked into my apartment after tearing off another notice note. "Diesel-Weasel's." Just like he always does, he jumped all around the room. "Momma missed her baby boy," I got to my knees, "but guess what? Momma met a very nice guy earlier." Even though he never understands what I say to him, I love to tell him about my day. He's a good listener and sometimes it's nice to just vent out to someone who cares for you: even if it's a dog. "You hungry, boy?" he cocked his head to the side, "You hungry?" He followed me as I went into the kitchen. I put the little of what was left of his food in his bowl, "Eat your food." He slowly made his way over to the dish and ate. I flopped on the couch and thought of Nick again. I thought of how his beautiful brown eyes stared into mine, how he smiled when I spoke to him. He is so beautiful. I looked back over to Diesel and seen him slowly start to finish off the very last of his food. Now I really feel bad. There are some days I just want to give him to a family who I know that are going to treat him well; love him, walk him and always have extra food in hand. He joined me on the couch, resting his head a crossed my lap. Then there are moments like this I never want to end. I've had him since he was a puppy. Flashbacks came to mind. ~ The warm May sun hit my face as I walked to the grassy fields. "Over here, baby girl," my mom's relaxing voice said. I followed my mom over to a little spot. There played 6 Beagle puppies with a sign saying '$150' hanging on the cage. As my mom 'oohed' and 'awwed', I looked around. I snuck away and went to a cage where there were only 4 black puppies. They were so cute, I couldn't resite from putting my hand inside. One of them wobbled over to me and just laid his head right in the palm of my hand. I instantly fell in love. I stroked his soft head with my thumb. "That's so cute," the familiar voice said behind me. I looked over my shoulder to my mom. "I'll be right back," she walked off. I continued to pet the puppy. Soon, my mom came back over with a lady that works here. "How much," she simply asked. The lady took him out and handed put him in my arms, "The Labrador/Border Collie mixes are $300" I lost all faith in seeing him again. "Oh, wow," my mom looked at me. She saw how much I wanted to keep him for my own. "We'll take him." I looked at her in shock, "Mom, it's okay, really. I can just get one of the Beagles like we came here for." "But I want to," she went off with you the lady to pay. I looked down at the pile of cuteness in my hands "You're gonna get a home." ~ Ever since that day, he's been mind. And I just can't give all that up. ~Chelsee
