It's a favorite! "Dark Chocolate Mint" burns so well. You'll love it, trust me! "Fireside" is so masculine. I love it. I have a back-up for that one. "Oatmeal Raisin Cookie" is really nice, but the other fragrances kind of overshadowed it. It does burn well. "Hot Buttered Rum" is like butterscotch and caramel. It's a good burn...

Jan 28, 2012 - but it has a semi-light throw. Oh, "Cranberry Pear Bellini" is one of my favorites. It's like a festive, sparkling pretty scent. I just love it. The burn is good and the throw is OK. I have such a huge collection its insane! i had the oatmeal raisin cookie too and burned it completely up over the fall. welcome to the unhealthy obsession with candles! i found that the spring scents had a really good throw but maybe thats because the more floral scents are just stronger than the bakery scents. but i loved marshmallow fireside which smells like your burning marshmallows over a campfire and fresh bamboo which is a clean spring scent

Jan 28, 2012 - awwww thank you holly :) you should do a haul video on your candles, it would be an awesome video. I really liked oatmeal raisin cookie for some reason and that candle turned me into an addict lol. Being born & raised on the islands, I am definitely looking out for the Mango Cilantro or Pineapple Mango candles for Summer. For spring Island Margarita is amazinnnggg I am trying so had to be disciplined haha. I will definitely buy marshmallow fireside next trip!

Jan 29, 2012 - No problem! I've actually been shopping with B&BW way before Slatkin teamed up with them. I gave up on "Mint Chocolate." Everyone elses works, but mine. :( "Apple Crumble" is just a mess. I wish I would've reported that candle when it first came out. It could've been magic if the wicks had no problems. The throw was strong regardless. Oh, don't worry. I have an order coming in from Saint Louis this week and I might go back to the store today! haha great review!

Jan 29, 2012 - Yeah I hear ya, Apple Crumble had such a wonderful cold scent but didn't want to risk it by burning it and getting disappointed etc. I figured out as much as I like the Spring scents and the summer ones sound delicious! I think I like the warm Fall scents the most - only one way to find out...wait for Fall this year lol! I am excited to hear your review of the Blackberry candle...i think that one has everyone interested in it! I am addicted lol

Jan 30, 2012 - I do not have problems burning my candles because I always cut the wicks a bit before I use them. When I first started burning these candles I did not cut the wick and some of my candles drowned in wax. I guess it's just important to watch them and make sure they are burning right.

Jan 30, 2012 - thank you for your comment! means a lot getting advice from you all that have experience with Slatkin & Co candles. I have been trimming my wicks and have noticed a much better burn!

Apr 4, 2012 - My favorite holiday Slatkin candles are Winter, Peppermint Marshmallow, Holiday Gumdrop, and Tis The Season. Most of the spring scents are just okay to me though. Tropical Spice isn't bad, Coconut Leaves is nice.
